Shipping Policy

At Garden Workshop we aim to get your order on its way as quickly as possible, dispatched from the UK.

Order processing

Orders placed before 12pm (noon) on a working day are dispatched the same working day. Orders placed after 12pm, or at a weekend or on a bank holiday, are dispatched the next working day.

Working days are Monday to Friday, excluding UK bank holidays.

Delivery services & timeframes

We choose the most suitable service for your order:

  • Standard — Royal Mail Tracked 48: aims to arrive within 2–5 working days.
  • Express — Royal Mail Tracked 24: aims to arrive within 1–2 working days.
  • Larger or heavier parcels — DPD / UPS courier: typically 1–3 working days.
  • Pallet delivery: used for bulk and heavy orders (around 50kg and over).

Most orders arrive within 1–5 working days of dispatch, depending on the service selected at checkout. You'll receive tracking details once your order is on its way.

Delivery charges

Delivery charges are calculated at checkout based on your basket and the service you choose.

Where we deliver

We deliver across UK mainland. Some remote areas, the Scottish Highlands & Islands, Northern Ireland and other UK islands may carry a surcharge or a longer timeframe — this will be shown at checkout.

Estimated timeframes

All delivery timeframes are estimates, not guarantees. Once your order has been handed to the carrier, delays within their network are outside our control and we cannot be held liable for them.

If your parcel hasn't arrived

Please allow up to 14 days from the dispatch date before reporting a parcel as lost — this gives time for any carrier delays or investigations. If it still hasn't arrived after this period, contact us and we'll put it right with a replacement or refund in line with your rights.
