Plastic water butt tank connector with a 1/2in BSP male thread and a 1/2in hose barb outlet, supplied with a washer and back nut.

Fitting: drill a 21mm hole in the water butt. Remove the back nut and one washer, push the connector through from the outside, then fit the washer and back nut on the inside and tighten, so there is a washer each side of the wall.

Push a 1/2in bore hose over the barb and hold it with a hose clip (not included). There is no tap, so water flows as soon as the hose is on; add an in-line valve if you need to turn it off.
